Our new hooded princess blanket pattern is the perfect way to spoil your little princess. Up until I finished this blanket, my own little princess was ALL about unicorns. Hats, toys, blankets, shirts, etc. So many unicorns! Then I finished this blanket and she has declared it to be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever crocheted! I was floored. I thought nothing would be able to beat out the hooded unicorn blanket I made for her a few years ago! But the time has come that she’s ready to give away the unicorn blanket and move on to becoming a princess whenever she gets cold!
This is the first version I made in super bulky yarn. It is heavy and makes for the perfect weighted blanket! If you live in a place with colder climates, this blanket would be the one you’d want to make because it is incredibly warm and snuggly.
My daughter, however, has chosen this version made from worsted weight yarn. I was hoping she’d choose the pink one because I just think she looks absolutely perfect in it. . . but honestly it’s good she ended up choosing the lighter one since we live in Arizona! It’s also made in her favorite colors so I guess the pink one never stood a chance!
She just looks so perfect and squishable in it right? It’s going to be hard for me to let that one go! I guess she doesn’t look too shabby in the Mint one though (;
I might sound a little overly confident by saying this, but I can almost guarantee that if you have a special little girl in your life, she’s going to go nuts over receiving one of these princess blankets as a gift. ESPECIALLY if you make it in the colors of her favorite princess. It’s time to get started on those Christmas presents!
