Just Wrap Them Up in a Bunny Already!

Bunnies are just so soft and cuddly. So turning your little ones into a bunny is just so clearly a good idea that I can’t believe I didn’t think about it until now! Cuddling (or squishing, as I usually say) babies and little kids is one of my favorite things in this world. Add one of these hooded bunny blankets and you have taken cuddling to a whole new level!

I always want to get all the options my patterns gives shown in one single picture. I usually take separate pictures and then put them together into one composite photo, BUT this time my little girl asked me if she and the baby could get their pictures taken at the same time. So I thought I’d give it a try. . . . and this is what happened.

I can’t really explain why he went after her face right as we sat him down next to her. My only guess is he was trying to check to see if she was really a bunny. Anyway, I quickly gave up on the whole taking a picture of them together idea and quickly got this perfect little picture of my adorable little girl. She sure loves posing for pictures!

I decided to use a picture with her mouth closed because she just lost her two top front teeth. Luckily for her, she still looks pretty stinkin’ cute even with those very important teeth missing.

My son, on the other hand, is finally getting all of his teeth in. Check out this smile!

If you’re starting to say to yourself right about now, “I thought this blog was supposed to be about crochet, but she just seems to be talking about her kids” well, yeah. I don’t have a personal blog so I’ve got to sneak it in when I can. The whole post isn’t going to be about my kids though. Next I’m going to talk about my husband. He got off work early and was willing to use his limited free time (med student!) to help me take pictures (because this baby of mine rarely sits still without a little extra help!). So while my husband was helping wrangle him, I got this sweet picture of my baby holding onto his papa and giving him love. I just adore it!

Alright, now I’ll wrap this up and make it about the blankets. The pattern includes instructions for both worsted weight and chunky (super bulky) yarn as well as giving options for open or closed eyes. It includes sizes from baby up to adult so you can wrap yourself in a bunny if you’d like as well! Another great thing about these blankets is that when they are not in use, they make great decorative pillows!
