THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
- Hooks: You will need a 5.5 mm (I) and 6 mm (J). IF YOUR GAUGE MATCHES MINE!
- Yarn: You are welcome to use any brand of worsted weight/category 4 yarn as long as you check your gauge before beginning. For a tip on how to save time when checking your gauge, check out my blog post entitled “Becoming a Master Gauge Checker: It’s a stinky job, but somebody’s gotta do it. . .”
- For Large Skirt you will need:
- I used Red Heart Soft. You will need 7 balls of yarn for main color and less than 1/2 ball for bow color.
- I also used Big Twist Twinkle. For the contrast color you will need 3 balls of yarn.
- Small Skirt you will need:
- I used Big Twist Twinkle. You will need 2 balls of yarn for main color, less than 1/2 ball for bow color and 2 balls for the contrast color.
- For Large Skirt you will need:
- Sewing needle with large eye
- Pins (optional for placing parts before sewing)
