THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
- Hooks: You will need a 5.5 mm (I) hook for the regular worsted weight hat base & 6 mm (J) hook for the furry hat base. Depending on the size you make, you will also need a 3.5 mm (E), 3.75 mm (F), 4 mm (G) & 5 mm (H) IF YOUR GAUGE MATCHES MINE!
- Yarn: You are welcome to use any brand of yarn as long as you check your gauge before beginning. For a tip on how to save time when checking your gauge, check out my blog post entitled “Becoming a Master Gauge Checker: It’s a stinky job, but somebody’s gotta do it. . .”
- I used Vanna’s Choice Yarn. You will need 1 ball for each main color. You will also need small amounts of accent color and eye color.
- Bernat Pipsqueak Yarn- Used only for FURRY HAT. You will need 1 ball.
- Polyester Stuffing (only a small amount) & tapestry needle with large eye
- Pins (optional)
